Color Inspiration | Grape

Although it is one of my favorite flavors, grape has never interested me color-wise.  I can count the number of purple things I own…you want to know the big number?  Zero.  Rather subconsciously however, I’ve been pinning grape infused ensembles and craving some of this punchy color for the home.  My two favorite takes are this Stacia faux wrap dress and the Pari Rug from Lulu & Georgia.

What are your thoughts on this hue?

    1. Isn’t that funny?

  2. I love it! Love the flavor too!

    1. Yep, you and Grandma Mac are definitely fans!!

  3. I’m loving it too…I feel like I have been pinning a ton of stuff in this hue as well. I do have some purple roll pillows in velvet that I can’t live without…but I don’t own a lot of purple clothing….but I do count on purple velvety jeans….LOVE!! wonderful for fall. Love the rug!

    1. LOVING velvet right now! You’ve got good taste 😉

  4. I always assumed that because I disliked the flavor, I also disliked the shade…

    1. Hehe, that could make sense of things!

  5. Love that purple rug at the end! Saw your blog on Mimosa Lane this morning. So cute! I will have to keep stopping by!

    1. Thanks so much for commenting! Hope to see more from you =)

  6. I’m a big fan of grape/purple. I think when it’s like these hues (darker, more jewel-toned), it looks so rich and beautiful (as opposed to paler or more pink). And I loooove that rug!

    1. Yes, I love saturated, richer colors as opposed to pastels =)
