The Summer Solstice

solstice1solstice2Happy Monday lovelies!  So much excitement this weekend, first with Ethan’s homecoming.  Both Simon and I were jumping up and down with happiness to see him.  Lots of cuddles and kisses and playtime around here.  Saturday we started our day early with breakfast out and a speedy trip to the barber shop.  Then it was off to the Summer Solstice Fest in Anchorage.  We arrived as the booths and tents were being put up and got to see the arrival of some pretty sweet classic cars (although the number had nothing on Missouri car shows).  We walked around and bought some treats, including reindeer dogs, kettle-corn and some new Babycakes flavors: lavender pistachio and lemon.  On our way back to the car we made a detour to admire furry friends including lots of bunnies, a family of goats, and the cutie below!
