The Best is Yet to Come

I can’t believe how lucky we are to be able to take so many days of leave to revisit our friends and family.  As I prepare for the trip, I thought it would be fun to share the list I have been creating for when we are home.  The items on the list may seem random, but I’m seriously looking forward to every single one.

–make Simon’s pouf

–buy new jeans

–monogram napkins

–upgrade my business cards

–find favorite photos to add to my shrine (including baby picture of Ethan, wedding photo of parents, picture of Amanda and me as kids, and pictures of my parents when they were kids)

–buy a piece of art at first Fridays

–eat at MacAlisters

–shopping trip to STL

–get Grandpa’s funeral card

–eat at Holcolm diner

–trip to Golconda, IL

–eat at Old Appleton pie safe (and shop at the salvage store)

–thrift endlessly

–antique in St. Mary’s

–look for nightstands

–take birthday puppy portraits

I can’t wait to share all the goods from our vacation with you.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend and a happy Easter!
